The above proposal is a refinement of the initial idea. The TV faces concept has been retained, and the visual appearance of the figures has been developed to include 'screen' rectangles and map bases. A maquette was also made for the benefit of the selection panel: |
Faces & Places (maquette), 2005, steel, card, LCD screen, 15 x 15 x 40 cm. The maquette contains a miniature LCD screen showing a series of faces and Essex place images.
