The figure is jerkily animated by a silent motor, so that the keys of the typewriter move.  Philip Larkin's The Old Fools scrolls from the typewriter.  The installation is viewed through a window, and a dog barks when the letterbox is opened.  Through the keyhole, an animated image of Rodin's Age of Bronze is visible.
