Hundreds of stainless steel shapes were supplied by the cutting company Aqua Cut UK.

Each shape was marked up for pre-curving.

Tube sections were supplied rolled to size.  Solid inner tubes were sand blasted, outer tubes formed from perforated sheet.

Shapes were pressed to follow  the curve of the metal tubes.

The shapes were a complex jigsaw, requiring precise setting out.

Final mechanical polishing.

The outer sections were electropolished to produce a robust chrome finish.

Artwork sections were bolted to the pillars to complete the commission.
