Twelve year 10 students designed and constructed this statue to commemorate Queen Boudica.  The project was funded by Colchester Museums.

Students developed the concept of barbed wire to create a link with modern warfare.  This imagery also conveys a sense of the struggle and oppression that was temporarily escaped by the Iceni with Queen Boudica's rebellion.
